But there's always more to a person than their job. I love animals (particularly my dog), food, books, gardening, snowboarding, travelling & camping. I laugh a lot and have most creatively been dubbed "The Lol-cano".
I am passionate about the environment, veganism, social enterprise, sustainability, and ethics, and I hope to take on more clients in this realm.
I graduated university with a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design (Hons) at the close of 2013 and have been working full time and freelancing ever since, solely freelancing from the beginning of 2018 to allow my partner and I to gallivant around Europe for 9 months.
I take pride in my attention to detail and language skills, and as the product of two English teachers, always keep an eye on content lest a pesky typo or grammatical error threaten the professionalism of my design.
My experience covers a variety of industries, content, styles, and platforms, so for more detail head over to my portfolio page or view the print version here. In addition to a variety of mediums, I am also comfortable and experienced working on projects over the entire process from research and concepting to development to final roll-out.
I am also the recipient of two New Zealand Radio Award certificates for my contributions to the teams behind the iHeartRadio-led multibrand Ed Sheeran concert (finalist), and the Radio Hauraki "50 Years Since They Told Us We Couldn't" campaign (winner).
